A fascinating event to remember Taken up in Fairfax, VT

What a trip that was going up to VT to capture this stunning event and then coming back after it all! Still going through images plus the flyball event a couple days prior. Enjoy these beauties! Also, I believe I captured a rare solar eclipse flare “sun explosion”!

Featured on Defenders of Wildlife

10 years ago, my photo of Nina from Wolf Hollow was featured on the cover of Defenders of Wildlife. I still remember taking that photo like it was yesterday. Her beauty was always phenomenal every time I saw her, but she was camera shy thus photographing her was a fun challenge. However on this day, I found her relaxing. Having only a moment, I was able to capture this rare portrait of her gazing at me, forever preserving her elegant and mesmerizing beauty ❤️🐺

Big Announcement! 📸🐴🐶

Happy Friday everyone!! The wait is over, time for some big announcements!!!

Over the past couple weeks, I’ve been working hard on processing through many photos and while also doing other photoshoots. However, I am pleased to announce that the photos from The Arabian Horse Association of New England 2023 Horse Show 🐴 and the Skyhoundz Qualifier Weekend 🐶 are live on my website!! Woot!! 🎉🎉🎉

ALSO, I have a new process of ordering digital files. Starting now, you can order through my website. No more having to write out the image numbers and sending them to me. You can go through the site, add image(s) to your cart 🛒 in the format you prefer and checkout through the site. Once you place your order, I will make adjustments to the selected image(s) (as I always do, as most images are raw and unedited) and upload the retouched image(s) to your order form (Same process for ordering prints). Once done, you’ll be notified that your digital files are ready. That easy! 😄

Prices have been updated with this new process and they will vary based on the event. However, to kick things off, any orders you place that are $125 or more, you can get 15% at checkout with code SUMMER15. Pretty sweet! 😎

If you have any questions or looking for specific edits to certain photos, please contact me before placing your order.

Alright, enough talk. Go checkout the images!! 🥳

The 401 Girls

At last, the cat is out of the bag! I can finally talk about my amazing trip of transporting the 401 girls or also known as the RI “black coyotes”. I am so honored that I was given the privilege of transporting these sweet girls. With the help of Anne, director of the Warwick animal shelter, we got the girls into the transport and off we went. Accompanied by my girlfriend, Danielle, we kept the girls entertained by chatting, vibing out to some sweet tunes to keep the girls at ease, and taking in wonderful sights of our trip. They were perfect angels the whole ride, chilling out to the music and mostly sleeping. Now that they’re here at Red Riding Hood Rescue Project - a wolfdog rescue, they’re acclimating to their new life and I can already tell, they’re enjoying it. I absolutely adore these girls as if they were my own and I plan to take lots of photos and videos of them during my stay at the sanctuary.

If you can, please donate to the sanctuary to help reach their funding goal for these gals, as there are a lot of expenses that have gone into building their new enclosure, transporting them here, and feeding them. Thank you!

Greenfield Derby - Spring 2022

🟢🐎🟢🐎🟢🐎🟢🐎🟢🐎🟢🐎

The Greenfield Derby photos are live!!! I’m so thrilled that I got to attend this event as it was a lot of fun! Thank you again to @masschaosflyball for having me! Thank you all for being so patient for these photos When you view them, please keep in mind that most photos are unedited and also, the coloring in some of the photos may look odd due to the venue’s old fluorescent lighting. I will do my best to correct for that when I edit the ones you select.

Go check-’em out and enjoy!

Return from Vacation

Hey everyone! I’ve returned from my vacation and have a lot of fantastic photos to share with you all! A quick update to anyone who has purchased dock diving or disc throwing photos, I’ll begin working on those this weekend and be sending them out. Thank you for being patient!

New Side Website

Hey everyone, I got some exciting news and a bit of a long post! I’ve launched a new side website for my event photography work! Woot! This will help organize photos for large events and make it easier for anyone to find and view the photos

Now for the great news! Those that attended Central K9’s dock diving event on August 6th - 8th can now view photos from Day 1 and Day 2! Day 3 is currently uploading as I type this out and will hopefully be available to view later today. Also, the photos from June 5th are up too!

Please note that due to timing in preparation for my trip, I’ve gone through all the photos and have made quick adjustments to the overall images. If you’re interested in purchasing a photo(s), be aware that I will make further adjustments and corrections for lightening, color balance, etc. if need be. For example, if you like an image but it’s too bright or dark, I can make adjustments along with others. Feel free to inquire for further details.

Also, on the website I have a page that outlines on how to purchase photos. Read through that and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

If you were at the event for multiple days, I highly recommend viewing through all the galleries of such days and writing down the numbers to each image along with the day and Splash #. I tried spacing out each splash rounds and making sure everyone is in the correct splash. However, if you were one of the first jumpers or last jumpers, you could be in the following or previous round. Also, if you were standing by the pool with your pup, there’s a chance I might have snap a few quick photos so keep your eyes peeled for them

Lastly, I will announce when all of Day 3 photos are up. If you’re looking to get images right away, I highly recommend looking through images today and sending me a message with your picks ASAP as I will be leaving for my trip tomorrow and be gone for a few weeks

Alright, enough of me blabbing! Thank you all for being patient! Here is the link to the website! Enjoy!

New Posting System

Hey everyone! I know I post a lot in my blog as I mainly use my Facebook page as sort of a photo blog. The other day, I was thinking what if some people don’t check there? They could be missing out on some cool stuff! So with that in mind, I’m going to start taking what I post to Facebook and also post it here! That way if anyone doesn’t care for Facebook and prefers checking my site here, they will now have that option!

As I have not posted here in a few years, a lot has changed for me in so many ways and I’ve been making little changes to my website along with another website to join it!

Playing With "Danger"

About a year ago, I met up with Wally Gilbert, a colleague of mine (who I also did an internship with during college), at his gallery reception held at Salon R. I chatted with him, catching up on his past work, and talked about his current exhibit at the time. Afterwards, I spoke with the owner of the salon and one thing led to another and next thing I knew I had received a date for a gallery of my own!

Fast forwarding to now, I am pleased and excited to announce my very own gallery show, Playing With "Danger", a visual story about the interactions I've experienced with wolves & wolfdogs. A majority of people who talk to me about my work with wolves often ask me if it's dangerous or if I'm ever afraid that I may get hurt or eaten. Some even become filled with fear of the idea of ever coming close to these animals. When faced with these ideas / opinions of "fear" & "danger", I walk right past them and embrace these wonderful animals into my arms. In this exhibit, I plan to share my experiences and hopefully change the opinions of others to view wolves from a more respectful & positive light. More details are yet to come about the exhibit!

Summer Air

As we slide into June, the air is warming up and feels so nice outside! Been playing around with my phone's camera when I'm out and the photos it captures are stunning! As I continue to mess around with them, they'll eventually be used for my upcoming gallery in August at Salon R. Exhibit details and the date for opening night will be coming out soon! Stay tuned :)

Went to Endicott tonight and presented my thesis to a class and talked about the process and techniques of filmmaking. While my film was playing, Presley noticed Earle and started watching with such amazement 😆

Time to Freshen Up!

Life flows in many different directions for everyone and sometimes we have choices to choose the outcome of a situation whereas other times we have to just sit there for the ride. No one can just give us a button to press to make life easier or much more simple because it's ridiculous to think that would be possible and it would be pretty dull. A year ago, I went through a lot with my senior year of college, personal life, and direction I was heading in my career. It's crazy to think that I'm not in school any longer filling out Q&A of who you're, what your major is and why you're taking the class blah blah blah, etc. I am a free from that responsibility of fulfilling tedious assignments that grant me a letter grade that can determine my faith of doing fantastic, well, decent, bad, to fail, which then opens or closes doors to possibilities. The point I'm driving at in this statement is that you can lose track of time and forget why you started something or what your passions were years ago when completing tasks that take up all your time. I felt I lost myself at some points during that semester because life was overwhelmingly stressful and drove me to thinking I was mad or bonkers like the mad hatter.

@MadHattaSays

Eventually, I pushed through and survived. Graduating was a surreal moment that back when I was in elementary school, I thought I wasn't going to achieve. It seemed so far away. The moment to sit back and relax for a week or so as I caught up on sleep seemed pleasant and well deserved for my over stimulated brain. However, the sweet victory didn't last very long as another plot twist was added to my life as I then faced the heartache of losing my dearly beloved dog, Precious. She was the sunshine in my life as well as the center of my universe. The privileged of only having her for 6.5 years seemed short, however, her presence made a significant change in my life in so many ways. Losing her was devastating to say the least, making it incredibly difficult to even pick up my camera as she was my pure inspiration and my assistant on just about any project of mine, whether she was there getting involved or was mentally in my mind. I felt lost and depressed after losing her and stayed offline for awhile. It was a depressing summer with losing her and dealing with other personal stuff that affected my life negatively.

Presley

Near the end of summer, a new light appeared in my life. My family and I decided that we wanted to get a new dog because the absence of Precious was unbearable. In contacting several people, we were able to acquire a 5 month old Samoyed named Presley. After having him for a month now, Presley has brought happiness and joy back into our house and into our lives. Although we still miss Precious, we will always remember her while her legacy will be carried on with Presley. Continuing on with him, I've been getting things organized again in my life and have been wanting to break this funk I've been in for awhile and start enjoying life as well as start creating new bodies of work. My plan for the future is to at least post something on my blog here once a month. I may post new work or old work or even just quick little updates. Eventually, I may consider using Twitter & Instagram. In the meantime, I'm gonna start updating this site to have more portfolio work white the other site will contain a large portfolio of series of works that are constantly being updated.

Although I feel I've been a bit rogue (even though I've been attempting to post a photograph once a month to my Facebook feed), I thought it would be nice to write out something to any followers and to hopefully keep it going.
